This contest is organized by Leger Marketing Inc (Leger). 

 

Subject to applicable laws, these rules apply to all aspects of the contest and are binding upon all participants.  

 

Prize Description 

The contest consists of: 

  • 2 $50 Uber Eats gift card

Leger is not affiliated with Uber. 

2 winners will be picked for this contest. 

The winners will receive their $50 Uber Eats gift card by email.

 

Conditions for Participation 

No purchase required. 

A LEO account is required to enter the contest. Each time you answer a LEO survey or the Question of the Day, you earn chances that you can bet on this contest. To be considered as a participant to this contest, you must bet at least one of your chances. 

Place your bet online on the LEO portal or the LEO app. To bet one or more of your chances:  

  1. Go to the LEO contest page on the portal or on the app
  2. Click on the (+) symbol, then on “Participate”  
  3. If you want to withdraw chances from your bet, click on the (-) symbol, then on “Participate” 
  4. You may change your bet at any time before the contest closing date.

Eligibility 

Requirements to be eligible for the draw: 

  • An active LEO account.
  • 18 years of age or over when entering the draw. 
  • Residing in Canada at the time of the draw. 

Other requirements to be eligible for the draw: 

  • Your LEO profile must be filled out.  

Leger employees, including its advertising and promotional agencies, as well as employees of the suppliers of the prize or those of another party directly or indirectly involved in the contest, including their family members and the people with whom they reside, may not participate in this contest.  

 

Deadline for Entries 

The contest will take place from January 4th, 2022, 00h01 (EST) to January 31st, 2022, at 23h59 (EST). 

 

Designation of the Prize Winner (Location, Date and Time) 

The draw will take place at 507 Place d’Armes, office 700 in Montreal on February 1st, 2022, at around 12h00 (EST) via the LEO panel management system in accordance with the conditions of participation set out in these rules. 

 

Media Used to Notify a Winner 

Winners will be informed by e-mail about being selected in the draw and the prize won, within 48 hours following the draw.  

We use info@legeropinion.com as the e-mail address to contact the winners of our various contests. 

  

Information that a Winner Must Provide to Receive their Prize 

Winners will be required to provide the information requested to validate their identity within 365 days of receiving the email informing them that they have been selected for the contest. Winners can reply directly to this e-mail. If the winner has not responded after the 365 days delay, the winner forfeits the prize. 

We may contact a winner by phone to confirm further information and inform them about the shipment of the prize (if applicable). 

Once the verifications have been completed and approved, winners will officially be declared as such. 

 

To obtain the prize, a winner must: 

  1. Confirm their first and last name.
  2. Confirm their full address.
  3. Confirm their date of birth.
  4. Correctly answer the following skill-testing question: (25+15) x 5 – 100.
  5. Send a picture of themselves with the attached poster in the e-mail we sent them to demonstrate the authenticity of our winners to LEO members (we may contact you again if the image is inconsistent / non-compliant).

By accepting the prize, a winner authorizes Leger, the contest organizers (LEO), to use their name, address (only the first name and the first letter of the last name, the city and province of residence will be reported), photo or image or any declaration about the contest for the purpose of publicity, without any form of compensation. Winners’ name will be posted on LEO’s website and LEO’s social media. 

 

Receiving the Prize 

The prize will be sent to the winner by email. 

 

General Information 

Leger is exempt from any liability in the event of lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, incomplete or improperly forwarded registrations, of viruses on the website or computer bugs during the contest, network outages or technical problems with the phone line, computer systems, servers, the Internet access service providers, or problems with installations or computer material or software, or any e-mail error or transmission delay, or any other electronic transmissions transmitted by or to leger or its agents as a result of any technical problems or congestion on the Internet or on any other website, or any of the above mentioned factors in combination, including any injury or damages caused to a participant or to any other person associated with computers or as a result of participating in the contest, including using the contest website or the transmission and reception of e-mails. 

Without restricting the scope of the contest rules, Leger reserves the right, at its entire discretion, (subject to approval, if applicable, by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec) to modify, suspend or terminate the contest, in whole or in part, (and, at its discretion, to name one or more winners among the registered participants.) if for any reason whatsoever, in the opinion of Leger, the contest did not progress normally, notably because of falsification, an unauthorized human intervention, fraud, violation of contest rules, errors or technical malfunctions, or a virus, a computer bug or any other cause that could alter the security and the administration of the contest or adversely affect them. 

Leger reserves the right to replace an article by another of equal or superior value. In the event a prize is unavailable, Leger will send the closest related model. 

Any attempt to deliberately damage any website, to obtain unauthorized access to another person's computer, or to adversely affect the good functioning of the contest is a legal infraction, and, in the event a person would make such an attempt, Leger reserves the right, not only to disqualify this person from the contest, but also to fully exercise its right to remedy in damages under the law, including, if deemed necessary, criminal proceedings. 

The personal information obtained on participants registered to the contest is used solely for the purposes of the contest and to participate in other potential online surveys with or without remuneration. However, under no other circumstances, will the personal information obtained be sent to third parties. Please consult the policy on the protection of personal information of Léger’s business group. 

 

Litigation 

Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux (RACJ) for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
